How to Create a 3D Model from Multi-view Images

A single photo often misses the back and sides. Multi-view reconstruction uses a required front image plus optional back, left, and right views for more complete geometry and consistent proportions — ideal for products, characters, and complex props.

  1. Upload multi-view images — front is required; add other angles when those sides have details not visible from the front. Use consistent lighting across all views.
  2. Adjust octree, chunks, and target faces — more faces = denser mesh; lower faces = lighter file for game engines. Defaults work well for most objects.
  3. Generate — preview the reconstruction, then download GLB for Unity, Unreal, or Blender.

Features:
1. Front + back + left + right input
2. Complete shape reconstruction vs one photo
3. Adjustable octree resolution and mesh density
4. Free multi-view to 3D, no subscription

Only one photo? Use Image to 3D. Need another format? 3D File Converter.

How many images do I need for multi-view 3D?

A front-view image is required. Add back, left, and right views when those sides have unique details not visible from the front. More informative viewpoints generally give the AI better data for a complete, well-proportioned reconstruction.

What do octree, chunks, and target face num do?

Octree resolution controls how finely the reconstruction space is divided — higher = more surface detail. Number of chunks splits the workload. Target face count sets the final mesh density — higher counts produce heavier, more detailed models; lower counts are lighter and better for real-time engines.

Multi-view vs single image to 3D

Single-image generation guesses hidden sides, which can introduce artifacts. Multi-view to 3D provides the AI with actual visual information from multiple angles, resulting in more accurate depth, consistent proportions, and cleaner geometry — especially important for products and complex props.

Is multi-view 3D generation free?

Yes. Upload your views, set mesh options, and generate without a paid plan. Use the GLB for product visualization, games, and other commercial work subject to the site terms.
